So a few weeks ago people in different cities all over the world participated in Thrill the World. A tribute to the late King of Pop and a world record holding event over 32,000 people danced simultaneously to Thriller. For the Atlanta area around 30 zombified beings came to Marietta to dance and be…well..zombies.

I don’t usually get attached to games but I haven’t been back to Sanford Stadium since graduation. So having been almost a decade, it was a little surreal. I also haven’t really gotten to see a Georgia game in almost 4 years due to living in the northeast. So Saturday I was able to shoot the UGA-South Carolina game and it was loud and amazing.

Here are a few assignments from the past month. I’ve covered a church arson fire in Duluth, a Gwinnett Sheriff’s Department K-9 funeral, kids jumping from Settles Bridge in Buford and families trying to get school supplies from the Salvation Army in Lawrenceville to name a few. More to come…

Last week Freeman Mill Elementary School in Lawrenceville opened their new science classroom. The school received a $20,000 grant from the AT&T Foundation to open the lab. I got to shoot on the first day that the room was open for students to learn about science.
