Over the weekend I went to the North Georgia mountains. Nestled in the foothills near the beginning of the Appalachian Trail is Ellijay. Starting with kayaking on Carters Lake and continuing to hike a very short patch of the AT it was a very enjoyable weekend.

So it snowed today in Georgia.  I assume the one time a year is now spent.  The flakes were huge though, much bigger than any I remember during my three years in Massachusetts. So for about an hour playing outside was a necessary distraction from a lazy Sunday.
